Support Worker

Robinson Medical Recruitment are currently looking to recruit an exceptional Support Worker who will provide care and support to service users in Edinburgh.

The ideal candidate will be a flexible and compassionate individual and able to demonstrate a passion for the role.

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting individuals who need help emotionally and physically depending on the individual’s needs. We cover an array of areas such as the Elderly & Frail, those with Mental Health Issues, Challenging Behaviour, Learning Disabilities and Physical Disabilities.

We’re looking for a dedicated Support Worker who is available for both day or night shift across a seven-day rota.

To apply to this role, you will need

• The right to live and work in the UK (essential).
• A minimum of recent 6 months current care experience within the UK (essential).
• PVG scheme membership and willing undertake the necessary vetting checks
• Experience of working with the Elderly & Frail, Mental Health, Challenging Behaviour, Learning Disabilities and/or Physical Disabilities.
• A certificate confirming your participation in a practical moving and handling course in the last 12 months, or are willing to book onto our course.
• Access to your own vehicle is desirable.
• You will also need to be SSSC registered or commit to joining the register when you become an RMR Employee.
• Willing to undertake full training and induction prior to commencing employment.
• References to support pervious care experience as a support worker.
